Andrea has been a lifestyle publicist for over 25 years. She specializes in food, parenting, children’s, green living, health & wellness and women’s general interest publicity. Andrea is proud to have spearheaded campaigns and product launches for some of the top brands in the Country.  She understands how to work collaboratively with her clients and how to partner with like-minded companies to maximize the visibility of her clients’ brands and projects. Over the years, Andrea has cultivated relationships with some of the top magazines and online publications in both the cannabis and general lifestyle consumer space. A Bay Area native, Andrea lives in Richmond with her partner, twin daughters and two cats.


Stephanie is an OG East Bay girl with a love for Taco Tuesday, black and white stripes, and black french roast coffee. Stephanie has worked in various marketing and PR roles for over 20 years and when she's not in the 4twenty office organizing projects, scheduling photo shoots, or creating endless lists, you can find her shuffling her three kids to soccer, ballet, or sleepovers in her minivan. A true soccer mom who plays for 'La Bella Squadra' and hopes to someday score a goal.   

MAX BALLOU, Writer and Editor

Based in Oakland, CA, Max is passionately obsessed with writing, with over 10 years of freelance writing experience across lifestyle categories, including health + wellness, dating + relationships, parenting, art + design, green living, and food + drink. They love to write a good story with an engaging narrative arc and includes useful knowledge. With respect to cannabis, they particularly like promoting access to information about cannabis and pioneers within the field who deserve recognition for their ground-breaking work.


Max has made huge strides in their own personal healing with the help of cannabis. A former therapist-in-training, certified yoga teacher, and non-binary human, they know the importance of feeling well in body, mind, and spirit firsthand.

ELKE RUSSELL, Operations and Social Media Manager

Elke is our Social Media maven and go-to for a plethora of administrative activities that happen in a bustling PR agency. She has a great eye for trends in the cannabis social space and can juggle deadlines like a pro. Elke lives in a really cool converted community center in the East Bay with her two girls and hubby.  Elke loves all things quirky, and can often be found rummaging around old antique stores looking for her next fun project. She also has great aspirations to raise some chickens and a pig someday.
